Where can I sign in to my Instagram account?

A ClearRules guidePublished: Updated: How we prepare guides

The short answer

Open instagram.com in a browser, or use the official Instagram app from Google Play or the App Store below. You sign in on Instagram. ClearRules helps you find the right route and does not ask for your password or code.

What to do

You do not need an intermediary to sign in. Open the official site or app yourself.

  1. Need the website? Choose “Open Instagram” below. Before signing in, check that the address is instagram.com. On a shared computer, do not save your password and sign out when finished.
  2. Need the app? Choose Android or iPhone. Check the app name and developer on the store page. If the app is incompatible or unavailable, try the official website.
  3. The site opens but sign-in fails? Choose login help. If a suspension decision is shown, follow that notice: reinstalling the app does not replace an appeal.

“An ad offers password-free Instagram access, but asks for my SMS code.”

What to do

Close that page and open the official Instagram app or website. If you already shared a password or code, follow the hacked-account guide to check and secure your access.
