Check privacy before posting anonymously in a Facebook group

Anonymous participation is not anonymity from everyone. Facebook’s indexed Help says group admins, moderators and Facebook’s systems can still see the contributor’s name and photo. Availability can differ between people and groups. This guide is for a participant deciding whether to publish a post or comment, not for configuring a group. First decide whether that visibility is acceptable; hiding a name does not make the content private.
