A review does not guarantee reversal. Do not duplicate a submission while the same case is still awaiting a response.
What to do
Open Meta’s final post decision and find the reference ID. Without it, this route is unavailable.
Choose Submit an Appeal on the Board’s site, sign in to your active account and submit within Meta’s stated deadline.
Check Track Your Appeal. Submitting does not mean the Board will select the case.
For eligible content decisions only: requires an active account, Meta’s final decision and a Meta-issued reference ID. The Board selects a limited number of cases. If the account is disabled and you cannot log in, this route does not fit.
PDPC may review access/correction refusal, delay or fees and pursue compliance. It does not award damages or order apologies; account reinstatement is not guaranteed.
The relevant PDPA obligations exclude public agencies and individuals acting in a personal/domestic capacity. The case needs an applicable personal-data issue, not only an account restriction. A review application and its supporting documents may be served on the organisation complained about. Do not assume the procedure is anonymous or confidential from that organisation.
What to do
Contact the organisation or its DPO first. Keep your written request, replies, dates, relevant evidence and the outcome you seek. The matter must concern personal data within the Singapore PDPA’s scope.
Online complaints require Singpass. Start with the official concern guide; if you cannot use Singpass, ask PDPC at +65 6377 3131 about available submission options. Choose Organisation’s Use of Personal Data, then Private Organisation. Read the eligibility checks without making an inaccurate declaration, prepare supporting documents, and keep the emailed case reference after submission.
PDPC’s published target is an initial response within 5 working days after submission. This is not a deadline or guarantee for resolving the case. A review application and its supporting documents may be served on the organisation complained about. Do not assume the procedure is anonymous or confidential from that organisation.
No general filing cutoff was verified. If the organisation cannot comply within 30 days, it must notify you within that period of its expected response time; fulfilment within 30 days is not guaranteed. The portal asks you to wait 10 business days for general concerns or 30 business days for access/correction; ask PDPC about this discrepancy. The FAQ says 30 calendar days, whereas the portal condition says 30 business days for access/correction. Clarify the discrepancy with PDPC.
CASE consumer assistance for personal or domestic purchases from a Singapore-registered company. If negotiations stall, eligible cases may proceed to separately priced, invitation-based mediation.
CASE excludes business-use purchases and business-to-business disputes. A Singapore Meta office does not prove that the actual seller is Singapore-registered. Mediation is invitation-based and both parties must consent; the mediator cannot impose a refund or reinstatement.
What to do
Check that the actual seller is Singapore-registered and the purchase was for personal or domestic use; retain the contract and receipt.
Use CASE’s complaint-assistance page and check the applicable advice, letter or case-handling service and fees.
If negotiations reach a deadlock, ask the CASE officer whether an invitation to mediation is suitable and whether the other party agrees.
Review the appointment and fee quote, attend with the supporting documents, and sign a settlement only if acceptable. If unresolved, ask about remaining remedies.
The purchase must be for personal/domestic use from a Singapore-registered company. Business-use purchases and business-to-business disputes are excluded. Check the actual seller, not the location of a Meta office. Mediation requires a CASE invitation and both parties’ consent.
Voluntary Singapore Mediation Centre mediation for an accepted commercial or service dispute. Individuals and businesses may enquire; the correct counterparty must agree to participate.
Meta's correct contracting entity must agree to participate. A request cannot force an unwilling entity to mediate or restore an account. Check SMC acceptance and the appropriate Singapore/contractual connection; this listing does not establish jurisdiction over an overseas Meta company. Criminal matters and remedies only a court can grant, such as injunctions, are excluded from this mediation service.
What to do
Identify the legal counterparty and request voluntary mediation, or ask SMC to approach an unconfirmed party under its rules.
Use the current online Request for Mediation linked from SMC's forms page and state whether all parties consent.
Review the applicable fees and agreement to mediate; follow SMC's case-summary and document instructions.
Attend with authority to settle and review any proposed settlement before signing.
Confirm SMC acceptance, the Singapore or contractual connection and the actual supplier. Both parties must consent, although SMC can approach an unconfirmed party under its rules. A Singapore listing does not establish jurisdiction over an overseas entity. Criminal matters and court-only remedies such as injunctions are excluded.

Help limit intimate-image sharing
The service helps limit sharing on partner platforms. It cannot remove everything from the internet or restore an account.
What to do
Check your age when the image was made and the service’s conditions.
On the official site, use only material already on your device. You do not need to send the file itself.
Keep the case details and follow the instructions for checking progress.
For intimate images of you taken at 18+, including threatened sharing. You need the file on your device. It stays there; a digital fingerprint is shared. Coverage is limited to participating public-facing platforms, not the whole internet or encrypted messages. Keep your case number and PIN.

Small claims often concern monetary claims. The court may not have power to order account restoration. Consider fees, costs, deadlines, contract terms and local rules.
What to do
Read your region’s court rules. Check jurisdiction, claim limits and available remedies.
Identify the correct defendant and service procedure. Prepare a timeline, evidence and an amount based on documented losses.
Check required pre-action steps and fees. Use the court’s own form; this guide is not a court filing.
Start with SCT’s eligibility check, then Claim Form in CJTS. Documents cannot be served outside Singapore. A similarly named local office is not necessarily the correct defendant; establish the contract party and valid remedy first.

All options by goal
Different routes seek different outcomes. Use a data or payment complaint only when that is the actual issue.
No confirmed process outside Meta has been found for this situation
This does not mean you have no rights or other remedies. Our country directory has no confirmed route for this particular issue. Start with the available Meta process, or choose another issue if it also applies to you.
Individual cases highlight possible difficulties, not success rates. User accounts have not been verified against case records; official case studies are labelled separately.

Access returned during a dispute; the claim was withdrawn
Author reports access restored · Post date:
A Singapore poster describes small-claims proceedings followed by restoration. They also describe a wrong-defendant objection and withdrawing the claim after recovery. This is not a verified win by court judgment.
What this means for you: Check the legal entity, jurisdiction and genuine claim before filing. Do not sue a local office simply to reach support.

Does every country have an account-recovery route?
We have not confirmed that every country has an account-recovery process outside Meta. This directory covers the listed countries, with options for data, payments, harmful content and, where available, account restrictions and court claims. Several links do not mean several ways to restore an account. We state when no suitable option has been found.
The review covers the entries in this directory. It does not establish that every possible route has been found. An accessible page, an applicable procedure and a successful outcome are different things.
How to use this directory
Different bodies handle different issues. A refused data request, a payment dispute and an account appeal involve separate procedures. Choose the one that matches your situation. The body you contact decides whether to accept the case and what action to take.
Each card shows when its sources were researched. No real complaints were submitted.
